The primary goal of Spin Servers is to provide enterprise-class dedicated web hosting at affordable prices. To do that efficiently, we must listen to our community and take the feedback we receive with the utmost importance.
Currently, the most requested feature we have received from our community is a simple way to monitor server traffic. Until the release of our bandwidth monitor, you would need to install a bandwidth monitoring script on each of your servers to properly monitor your traffic.
Our traffic monitor will provide you with basic traffic statistics in order to give you a general sense of how busy your server is. This is fine for most people but some clients will require a more robust way of monitoring their web traffic. Installing an advanced bandwidth monitor is always a good idea and we recommend doing so.
You can find this new feature in your client portal. In the navigation bar, you will now see, ‘Servers Traffic Usage’. Clicking this will open the monitor where you can select each individual server to view the traffic statistic breakdown.
These traffic usage statistics are also available for our Hybrid Dedicated Servers.
