Spin Servers announces major cloud computing expansion in Dallas, Texas

Spin Servers, a trusted provider of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and data center solutions, has announced a major expansion of its cloud computing services with a new data center in downtown Dallas.

The new data center, Spin Servers’ second facility in the DFW metroplex, enables a major expansion of capacity for high-performance dedicated servers, private cloud deployments, and all-in-one colocation services. Over the next three years, Spin Servers will invest $7 million to deploy large volumes of compute and storage infrastructure in the new POP.

The Tier III data center, located in the heart of downtown Dallas, previously served the US government. The facility sits on a multi-substation power ring that also serves the Dallas medical district, allowing for a pristine power uptime track record.

The data center also serves as a major transit hub for several major telecom players. Seated near the 1950 N Stemmons carrier hotel, the new DAL2 data center offers a fiber-rich backbone with over 300Gbps of network capacity at launch.
